it's been quite a while since i've done anything purely traditional- i missed it. if anyone had been following the progress on my tumblr : [link] , the initial WIP was done digitally. but it just didn't sit quite right with me, so i scrapped that ( well not totally, i still retained Lightning's pose ) but i re-did it with a pen instead (;
this is just one of the variations i'm planning to do though, i might color this digitally, or try using watercolor, we'll see..

oh right-I did the backgrounds separately, then combined them in the frames with photoshop. valhalla can kiss my butt goodbye btw
pens used : chinese ink pen, white out and .. some pen i found downstairs.

Lightning's posing: the 3 frames- panels, has slight differences- i don't think i need to point it out but you guys could explicate that on your own just fine, me thinks!

Title wise : i was thinking about Choose to Fight , Defiers of Fate and the one i picked, Dust to Dust . i had to listen to 3 individually while looking at the piece like an idiot for a good 10 minutes, probs. it just fit the mood better, the song.

From Cocoon's pillar to Valhalla to the Doomsday clock. Amazing!! OMG! I love it!! I think this would be an awesome piece of artwork for the FFXIII trilogy set... if Square Enix would ever create one! LOL! You are AWESOME!
