colored version of WIP and process can be seen here
( i've put the post on top, well. for now, that is- hahah )
even the scanner at the scanner's place couldn't pick up every detail, like the 3rd panel's light grey colors are all dotty.
but i think it works just fine ;D
i actually think it kinda looks like a filter, geheheh.
although- i think i'll just leave this to be done with watercolor. i haven't done any watercolor stuff ever since.. well- i can't even remember. maybe 2 years ago-ish?
but it's fun, loads of fun. i think i've rediscovered ( more like is reminded ) of how much i absolutely love drawing and coloring traditionally.
the technique i used for this is wet on wet
. so basically you brush some water on the surface of the part you're going to color, then wait a bit before actually coloring it- so it'll come out all thin and flowy and smudgy and drizzly. please forgive my language- i can't english.
as for the title- i picked Valiant
because it gives a different vibe from the previous black and white one. this one- has spunk and color. and also hope- which is what i get from listening to the theme. see if you agree, hahah.FFXIII - Valiant
as always, comments are very welcomed. if you have suggestions, fire away, people.
see you next time. <3
