even the scanner at the scanner's place couldn't pick up every detail, like the 3rd panel's light grey colors are all dotty.
but i think it works just fine ;D ~~i actually think it kinda looks like a filter, geheheh.~~

although- i think i'll just leave this to be done with watercolor. i haven't done any watercolor stuff ever since.. well- i can't even remember. maybe 2 years ago-ish?
but it's fun, loads of fun. i think i've rediscovered ( more like is reminded ) of how much i absolutely love drawing and coloring traditionally.
the technique i used for this is wet on wet. so basically you brush some water on the surface of the part you're going to color, then wait a bit before actually coloring it- so it'll come out all thin and flowy and smudgy and drizzly. _{please forgive my language- i can't english.}

as for the title- i picked Valiant because it gives a different vibe from the previous black and white one. this one- has spunk and color. and also hope- which is what i get from listening to the theme. see if you agree, hahah.

I don'T think I commented on this one yet. It's very refreshing to see you working with traditional media. It works very well with your style

Watercolor was never really my forte, I'm still trying but hey, maybe one day

My favourite panel is the left btw. I like the concept and how you colored Cocoon o.o (sorry for being weird but that was the first my gaze was attached too. Shiney colorrrz )

hahah, thank you.. glad you liked it.
watercolor is hard because it's like you're working against time and you can't really afford making errors..
but i've found out that if you use a really thick paper- (220 gsm and more) you can wash the error away with water and it won't ruin the paper (;
ah- my fave is the first panel too. shiny colors are fun to play with
